Improving Crisis Communication Skills in Health Emergency Management
This project was launched in October 2012 for a 2-year duration. It was co-funded by the European Commission through the Lifelong Learning programme – Leonardo da Vinci (Development of Innovation) subprogram. HEALTH C aimed to support health authorities staff in the development of competencies required for managing communication in emergency situations.
The main results of the HEALTH C project consisted of a training course in communication in emergency situations and the respective training materials, including a toolkit.
The project was selected by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission as a ‘success story’, distinguished for its impact, contributions to policymaking, innovative results, and can as a source of inspiration for others.
HEALTH C concluded in 2014.
