The group aims to improve work processes\, create new delivery models relevant to European health systems\, and achieve the best health and best care at affordable cost in the face of changing demographics\, increasing chronic illness\, escalating costs\, and shrinking government and regional budgets. The group’s learning opportunities are driven by and for members\, with a focus on innovations relevant to system challenges and improvement aims in Europe. \nThe objectives of the webinar were to: \n\nPresent what is HIAE\nDescribe specific examples of members’ work\, particularly around reducing waste\, improving population health\, and leading through relationships\nSurface some of the ongoing learning that is emerging through HIAE\n\nSpeakers : \n\nPedro Delgado\, Head of Europe and Latin America\, Institute for Healthcare Improvement\nDr James Mountford\, Director of Quality\, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust\n\n  \n
