SUMMARY:APDH - 5th International Hospital Congress
DESCRIPTION:The Portuguese Association for Hospital Development (APDH) held its “5th International Hospital Congress” under the theme “The National Health Service – (Re)Cognise the Changes” on 20\, 21 and 22 November 2014 in Lisbon. On 20 November\, the 8th edition of the Best Practices for Health Award took place. On 21 November\, the conference was opened by eminent speakers\, representatives of Portuguese Institutions and European Organisations. One of them was Mrs.Dr. Sara Pupato Ferrari\, HOPE President. The topics presented during the day were: reforms of the National Health System: different perspectives; 40 years history of the public hospitals in Portugal and the evaluation of the Patient Safety culture in the health organisations.
